Hello! It has been a busy day and I am rather tired so this post will be short.
I went to Mass (in Portuguese) at 7:30 a.m. in the Basilica of Our Lady of Fátima. Msgr. Mangan was here in Fátima and I got a photo with him:
I also made it to the opening of the Liturgy with the Lebanese who are here to re-consecrate their country to the Immaculate Heart of Our Lady. I got a video of the procession, which began around 10:45 a.m. (local time) in the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity.
I did not stay because preparation was necessary for my trip to Coimbra. To make a long story short, it was a good conversation with one of the nuns. I also got to visit the Sr. Lúcia museum.
It was amazing to be in that place, especially after reading the Carmelites’ biography. All I can say is: WOW!! To see the objects Sr. Lúcia mentioned in her writings is stunning. Photos are not allowed (bummer…), so be forewarned!
I arrived back in Fátima around 7:45. I might go to bed early tonight. Way too tired….
