Some Beautiful Music

Hello Everyone!

Every so often I come across some particularly striking musical pieces on the Internet. Today I would like to share five in particular:

First: Christos Anesti

(Transliteration) Christós anésti ek nekrón, thanáto thánaton patísas, ké tís en tís mnímasi, zoín charisámenos!
(English) Christ is risen from the dead, trampling down death by death, and upon those in the tombs, bestowing life!

Second: Troparia from the Monastery Choir of Alexander Svirsky Monastery in St. Petersburg (Russia):

Unfortunately, I have no transcript for this rather stunning piece. I understand only a couple of words.

Third Christos Anesti by Divna Ljubojević & Melodi (A live version can be found here):

(Same lyrics as #1 above).

FourthIt is Truly Meet to Call Thee Blessed by Divna Ljubojević & Melodi:

(Transliteration) Dostojno est jako voistinu blazhiti tja Bogorodicu, prisnoblazhennuju i preneporochnuju i mater Boga nashego. Chestnejshuju heruvim i slavnejshuju bez sravnenija serafim; Bez iztlenija Boga Slova rozhdshuju, sushtuju Bogorodicu tja velichaem.
(English) It is truly meet to call you blessed, you who are the Theotokos, ever blessed and most blameless mother of our God, more honorable than the cherubim and without comparison more glorious than the seraphim, who without corruption gave birth to God, the Word, who are the Theotokos, we magnify you.

Fifth, O Virgin as Gabriel Proclaimed to Thee by Divna Ljubojević & Melodi (a live version can be found here):

(Transliteration) Gavrilu vjeshchavshu Tebje Djevo radujsja! So glasom voploshchashesja vsjeh bladika Tebje Svjatjem Kivotje, jakozhe reče pravednij David. Javilasja Yesim Shirshaya nebes ponosivshi Zizhditelja Tvojego. Slava Vselshemusja v Tja, Slava Proshedshemu iz Tebe, Slava Svobodivshemu nas rozhdestvom Tvojim.
