Leo XIII and Michael Brown: A Question

Yesterday, I saw an article entitled “The Great Deception.” This article appeared on Spirit Daily from Michael Brown.

In the course of this article, Brown writes the following:

But also, there comes a well-researched, in-depth, and interesting book […], that not only ties UFOs to a great demonic delusion, but connects it to Pope Leo XIII’s famous prophecy, in 1884, that Satan was granted a period (said to be somewhere around seventy-five to a hundred years) of extended power as a test for humanity and the Church.

Few would doubt that the world has witnessed a surge of evil—perhaps unprecedented in human history—since that year. Fascinating is that the papal vision occurred on October 13, which, thirty-three years later (yes, that number 33), would be the date for the great Fátima sun miracle.

A question for Brown: what is the source of the claim that Leo’s vision occurred on October 13, 1884?

I don’t know if Brown can answer that question.

Pope Leo XIII and the Prayer to St. Michael has the facts.
