Reply to Denis Nolan on Medjugorje and Vlasic

Medjugorje has been in the news as of late owing to the official excommunication of Tomislav Vlasic, formerly of the Franciscan Order.

In the 1980s, Sr. Briege McKenna is famously reported as having predicted that Vlasic would become involved in what is today referred to as the “Medjugorje Phenomenon.”

Last week, Denis Nolan of MaryTV, and a notable supporter of the Medjugorje Phenomenon, attempted to downplay Vlasic’s role in Medjugorje. Nolan argued that Vlasic was “never the spiritual director” of the alleged visionaries of Medjugorje.

This week, Nolan replies to an article over at Crisis that also similarly discussed Medjugorje in relation to the excommunicated Tomislav Vlasic.

Here, however, is a mystery:
Nolan has just run afoul of the “Gospa” of Medjugorje.

The “Gospa” herself stated on February 28, 1982, “Thank Tomislav very much, for he is guiding you very well.”

How will Nolan reconcile this statement of the “Gospa” with Vlasic’s history as well as Nolan’s own statements?

Marco Corvaglia’s Commentary on the Final Report on Medjugorje

Hello Everyone!

Marco Corvaglia has released a two part commentary on the Final Report of the International Commission of Inquiry on Medjugorje.

The text is available in Italian as well as English. I think it is well worth the read.

In the meantime, my own commentary will be slow in coming as there are a lot of things taking place here on my end. If idleness is the devil’s workshop, then I’m glad to have much to keep myself occupied.

Sincerely,
-Kevin Symonds

Update 3-7-21 A.D.:
Corvaglia updated his web site and so I have updated the two links above to reflect the change.
