Hello Everyone! My new duties and responsibilities keep me quite busy, but not so busy where I cannot respond to an occasional E-mail.
Hello Everyone! I continue to be busy and have recently received some news of import to me that I might be sharing with you soon.
I discovered some rather fascinating videos available on the Internet about Fátima. They are in Portuguese, so those with a facility in the language will find these to be very enlightening. Go check them out!

Hello Everyone! I have no idea where time seems to be going these days. My new duties and responsibilities keep me quite occupied and I do not have time for much of anything else. Please continue to keep me in prayer.
Preserving Christian Publications has issued another press release concerning the second edition of Pope Leo XIII and the Prayer to St. Michael. I here reproduce part of the lead-in to the larger release:
In 2017, I had the opportunity to read Fr. Charles Theodore Murr’s book The Godmother: Mother Pascalina, a Feminine Tour de Force.
For those who do not know, Mother Pascalina was the right hand of Pope Pius XII. She was, arguably, the most powerful woman in the Vatican during Pius’ pontificate. There has been much written about her over the years, some good, some not so good. I do not pretend to be an expert on Mother Pascalina’s life, but I am interested in learning more about her. Enter Fr. Murr’s book.
While reading, I was struck by a quote that Fr. Murr attributed to Mother Pascalina. The two were talking about the infamous alleged private revelations at Bayside, New York. Fr. Murr attributed to Pascalina the following quote:
In the light of various ideas that arise over the years about private revelations (authentic or alleged), I think we could all learn from Mother Pascalina’s wisdom.
Hello Everyone! Well, little did I think I’d have to write two articles of a similar theme in less than 24 hours but it looks like I am!
Matt Gaspers of Catholic Family News has responded to my July article Gaspers’ Interpretation of Fatima. He has done so in an article for CFN that was published on September 3. Gaspers was kind to notify me via Facebook of the article and I thank him for this gesture. We have subsequently spoken briefly also via Facebook.
“When you see a night illumined by an unknown light, know that this is the great sign given you by God that He is about to punish the world for its crimes, by means of war, famine, and persecutions of the Church and of the Holy Father.”
–Our Lady of Fatima
July 13, 1917
(Fatima in Lucia’s Own Words I:124)
On July 13, 1917, Our Lady predicted to the three seers of Fatima that there would be an unknown light that would illumine the sky. This sign, she further said, was to indicate that God was about to punish the world for its crimes.
