I decided to upload to my YouTube channel a video that I filmed 8 years ago.
On July 30, 2011, Br. Ignatius Prakarta, OSB, made his solemn profession of monastic vows in Norcia, Italy. I was present and filmed a good part of the ceremony. This was about 5 years prior to the earthquakes that destroyed the beautiful Basilica of St. Benedict in the summer of 2016.
Enjoy and Merry Christmas!
I attended this Ordination and thought the homily from H.E. Bishop Doerfler was very beautiful. Pay attention to his beautiful imagery with Mary, her Fiat, the priest and the Eucharist.
Last summer, I posted about Scott Collier and how he was facing death with dignity and faith.
I have learned that he is now free of cancer! The Sisters of Life have published an interview article about him.
Laudatur Iesus Christus!
Hi Everyone! This is my “farewell” post from Fátima as today is my last full day here. It is amazing to me how fond I am of this place and do not want to leave. I suspect that it will be a rather emotional departure.

This past January 20 marked the one year anniversary of the death of my friend, Paul Coakley. Last year I wrote two articles about my thoughts on his life, death and subsequent impact upon me. Now that a year has passed, I would like to offer another reflection upon said impact.
