A Reply to Fr. Zuhlsdorf on Fátima

Recently, a friend sent me a message asking if I had seen a new post on the web site of Fr. John Zuhlsdorf (“Fr. Z.”). The recent post was about a difficulty that Fr. Z. has concerning the third part of the secret of Fátima, specifically the phrase, “And we saw in an immense light that is God: ‘something similar to how people appear in a mirror when they pass in front of it’ a Bishop dressed in White ‘we had the impression that it was the Holy Father.’”[1]

There has been a lot of talk, especially from 2015 onward, about whether or not Pope Francis’ election to the throne of St. Peter in 2013 was valid. Others wonder whether or not the abdication of Pope Benedict XVI was valid. Thus, do we have one pope, two, or none? There are actual discussions currently taking place over these very questions.

Marian Consecration and Fatima

Hello Everyone! I hope that the first few weeks of the new year have gone by well for you!

On May 13, 2019, I gave a talk in Ishpeming, MI on Marian Consecration and Fatima. I have made the talk available on my YouTube channel.

Some Background:
There was a group of people at the parishes in Ishpeming who were preparing for consecration to Mary. I was contacted either in February or March by a member of this group and was asked to give a talk about Marian consecration in relation to Fatima. I had not given such a talk before, but thankfully, I had some thoughts in my head and was able to organize them along with other material.

You’ll find the result of my preparations in this talk.

I also made a PowerPoint presentation to go along with the talk. My remarks were written out in advance, though there were numerous times that I went “off script” with the audience.

For the present video, I took digital stills of the PowerPoint and arranged them accordingly to the audio file.

I hope that you enjoy!

Gaspers’ Interpretations of Fátima

On July 2, 2018, the publication Catholic Family News issued an article on the organization’s web site entitled Sexual Abuse and the Third Secret—A Timely Reminder. The article was written by the managing editor of Catholic Family News, Matthew Gaspers. Among other aims, the article seeks to connect the third part of the secret of Fátima with some recent news on allegations of sexual abuse.

Fátima and Dr. Maike Hickson

Hi Everyone!
I noticed today that Dr. Maike Hickson has written yet another article pertaining to Fátima. She is claiming that unnamed sources of hers in the Vatican have “indirectly” told her that there is a second text.

Dr. Hickson’s continued support and promotion of the “fourth secret of Fátima” is causing grave injury to the unity of the Church.* Thus, a question for her consideration:

At what point in time did Our Lady rescind her command of January 3, 1944 to Sr. Lúcia not to reveal the meaning of the third part of the secret?

-Kevin J. Symonds

*I am here using the term “fourth secret of Fátima” to refer to an alleged second text that is said to remain covered-up by the Holy See.

Fátima Articles

Good morning readers! A storm blew through the area yesterday and so I have time this morning to take care of some business.

I would like to bring your attention to two articles that have appeared. Preserving Christian Publications (PCP) has issued its recent catalog (#183).* In it are two articles pertaining to Fátima and I am referenced in them.
